Shuichiro Kishi is the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Sony Corporation. In 2005, after graduating from the Faculty of Economics, he joined Pioneer Corporation. For about ten years, he was extensively involved in various aspects of human resources. Recognizing the importance of building a career independently of the company, he developed an interest in human resource development.

In 2015, he moved to Mitsubishi Research Institute, where he focused on developing researchers and consultants while also conducting training sessions and facilitating workshops both internally and externally, and supporting ventures in the human resources sector. From 2020 to 2023, he was engaged in organizational and talent development across the Sony Group. He worked as a career consultant and workshop designer. Since 2023, he has been managing talent acquisition and resource management initiatives at Sony Corporation in his current role.

William Xie has 14 years’ experience in investment and consulting and global recruiting, and has led hundreds of Chinese enterprises to execute overseas talent recruitment programs. He leads the very first Global University China Career Union - GUCCU - working with the career centers of global universities and thousands of Chinese Employers to provide career help to Chinese overseas students as well as other international students and alumni who would like to seek opportunities in China.

Hi, I’m Ethelyn Zheng. I recently graduated with a Master of Commerce in Data Analytics from the University of Sydney. During my studies, I had the opportunity to work as a Research Assistant, Job Smart Ambassador, and Partnerships Executive at a social enterprise. Currently, I’m an Admin Assistant for the award-winning Job Smart Program, helping international students achieve their career goals. I’m also a Project Manager for a not-for-profit civics education initiative. I’m passionate about exploring new areas and making a positive impact on society.

Hi, I’m Ellie Nguyen and I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Business Analytics. In this final semester of my studies, I’m finishing up my Honours thesis on applying mathematical optimisation to hazard reduction operation scheduling. That, coupled with being a completer and ambassador of the Job Smart employability program for international students, has given me the chance to develop a client-centric and action-focused mindset. The experience has certainly played a major role in helping me secure my Graduate role at KPMG.

Chris is a final-year undergraduate majoring in Medical Science with a focus on Genetics and Genomics. At a relatively young age, he was honored to be chosen as a Project Officer to co-design and innovate the current medical science degree alongside 10 student partners and staff members. He aims to leave a lasting legacy for future Medical Science students by restructuring the degree and building peer support with his team before he graduates.
